2026 SHARP AGM

The committee have decided to try something a bit different this year. Traditionally the AGM would be held during the season where a week was selected based on what team were available, but this didn’t always suit some SHARP members. It was also a lot to manage on top of running a season and the addition of allowing people to take part via zoom made it very complicated to run.

Furthermore an AGM mid-season made it more difficult for transitioning over committee members as changes to committee then could impact on the running of the season. It also meant that we were unable to give a full financial picture of the current season if held early.

So we have decided to trial holding the SHARP AGM online after the season has taken place. The date for the meeting this year will be Monday 12th October 2026 at 7pm. It will be held via zoom.

We hope this will allow as many people as possible to attend and take part. We are happy to take feedback after the meeting from those able to attend, or by email from anyone not able to attend.

Nominations for committee roles should be in by Friday 21^st August 2026. Papers for the AGM will be sent around in September and will also

be available on the website.
