This Easter we shall be running a short season of desktop research and analysis, running from Monday 26th to Thursday 29th March. We have got a little behind with our field walking analysis and quantification, so rather than conduct additional field walking we have decided to try and bring our previous work up to date. Archaeometallurgy! Long word, great fun, as any students on the past few years' courses will tell you. The course is run by the amazingly knowledgeable and creative Dr Eleanor Blakelock, whose deep knowledge of ancient metals and how to work them comes from a variety of sources.
