About the event

SHARP Human Remains Supervisor and Cranfield University Lecturer, Dr Sophie Beckett summarises the results of a major aDNA project that SHARP has recently participated in (published in Nature in 2022 and Science in 2021). Sophie explains the specific results for Sedgeford, how they are helping to inform our interpretation of the early Medieval Sedgeford population and how SHARP would like to develop this research further.

Entry to our Tuesday night lectures costs £3 on the door. Doors open at 7:15pm.
