British Archaeological Awards 2002
On Thursday 7th November 2002 SHARP was awarded the
Pitt Rivers Award & Graham Webster Laurels
at the British Archaeological Awards ceremony in Liverpool Town Hall.
The award was given in acknowledgement of the Project's outstanding contribution to education in archaeology. The sponsors of the award, the Robert Kiln Trust, also presented SHARP with a grant to help with the Project's work.
SHARP would like to take this opportunity to thank the British Archaeological Awards and the Robert Kiln Trust for their kind support.
Thanks are also due to the University of East Anglia, in particular Adam Longcroft and Erica Towner of the Centre for Continuing Education, for their continued support and encouragement.
